I'd not want to be in his shoes. If I was him I'd be a lawyer instead. How the hell can you compare to your dad when your dad is the greatest basketball player and possible the greatest athlete of all time.
Yea, I'll pass on that responsibility.

Will see when/if he plays NCAA division I ball. Can't really tell from HS since there usually is a pretty big disparity in talent at that level. Some kids peak at HS - Tyson Chandler comes to mind - while others come into their game later on.
Sucks to be following those steps though.

Still looks under-developed to me.

It's quite a challenge to live up to all these people's expectations knowing that your MJ's son so I'm sure he's got a lot of pressure on him to perform.

Honnestly he's more likely to become a failure. Kinda like cops kids... they ususally end up to be hard drug users.

I think that bloodline can have a lot to do with the level of success that he will get to.
At 6'3"ish, and with a few extra pounds of muscle to put on, I think it'd be his best bet to hit the gym with pops and stay on it. I am pretty sure he has a lifetime of game films and is fundafuckinmentally TIGHT, again based on bloodlines.
ALSO
Remember that he is southpaw, which will make him damn near unguardable if he can get his right hand up to par as well, at least speaking on the level of finishing at the basket. Also, any right handed person that has tried to defend a lefty jump shooter knows how badly habit can come in and fuck up the greatest of intentions.

jordan kids play okay. but, that eric gordon is good.
does anyone know dajuan wagner? one of the best ballers who cameout
in NJ. he scores easily and one of the few who scored 100 points in a game.
He played for the cavs for awhile and left , i was disappointed with his performance. i thought he could do a lot better but, i didnt know he was also
very sick, it had something to do with his colon. he had surgery and is
recovering.
he signed with the warriors this season but i never saw him play.
on wikipedia... the warriors bought his contract after 2 months, no
wonder i didnt get to see him play. assholes.
i hope he gets back to nba. cavs should get him back, they need a point
guard and a shooter.
Ulcerative colitis is a rare disease, with an incidence of about one person per 10,000 in North America. The disease tends to be more common in northern areas.
more about the disease http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulcerative_colitis
its really painful and he was still playing with disease before the surgery,
averaging scoring 45 ppg in hs , college memphis tigers 21.5 ppg scoring 32-
25 points winning the NITchampoinship, and the first year at cavs 13.4 ppg.
he has skills, NBA bring him back!

He's never going to reach his dad's level, and the fact that he won't is going to kill his career. You can't have "Michael Jordan" attached to you and play a mediocre game.
If you want a kid that kills, who can not only reach your level but SURPASS it you have to take the Agassi/Woods approach.
Train them from before they can even walk. Hell Agassi's dad used his previous two kids as "guinea pigs" to perfect his training/coaching technique. Then he went to work on Andre from the first week he was born. When he was five he was already practicing with pros...same crazy stuff with Tiger. And, look at their careers...'nuff said.

Yea I can agree with you on that one. I honestly never knew both sons played bball...nor did I know their names. What's the other kids name?
It must suck to be either of them because they can bomb easily during college (i.e. Marcus Vick) or not live up to the hype in the pros.
I just hope they both play well through out all the challenges that face them.
How can you train a kid the first week they were born? lol

The other one's name is Marcus, he's a little bigger and is actually projected by scouts to be among the top point guards to come out of high school in 2008

Honestly, I don't believe so. Because, as much as that would make them one of the best basketball players of all time, I think Michael Jordan let his children grow up and do what they want to do. Yes, they grew up with a basketball influence (it'd be impossible not to). But, he did not drill it into their head and do hardcore training excercises to them from when they were toddlers. He played with them I'm sure, but not on the level to make them the best. If he did I believe we'd be seeing a hell of a LOT more in these two kids than we are now. They aren't exactly Bryants or Carmelos.

Well, he probably won't be effective like MJ was but I am sure he will become a good ball player. He is still young and there is room to learn other aspects of the game. The great thing about MJ is that he was able to make is teammates better. Let's hope he can give that trick to is son.

I doubt he'll play again, unless it is to clear up his name that he has effectively turned to shit as an executive in the league. He may have been one of the greatest to ever touch a basketball, but the fact remains that he has been one of the worst to ever make team decisions, see his failure in Washington and the forthcoming ones in Charlotte.

I'm a jordan fanatic and I have to agree with that statement. When it comes to game fundementals and skills, he will never be eclipsed, when it comes to business, he needs to leave it be.

It isn't even about sheer numbers, other individuals have and will achieve that, especially since defense on the whole died with the "do not touch" rules from a couple years back.
The thing with Jordan was the level of success he maintained once he got it. Once he was through Detroit, he became that bar to get over that Detroit was before him. On the whole, I am not the HUGEST Jordan fan, but the fact remains that I must respect his physical specimen and extreme level of talent on both sides of the ball. He earned that assholish swagger he traversed the world with, but if he doesn't sit the fuck down soon and quit "playing" executive, he will horribly dirty his name

Well, MJ's style of play was what we now see in the league as the Kobe/LeBron/D-Wade "zone buster." They had to learn it from somewhere, I think he'd have been MORE of a killer against a zone, as the zone was made legal when the league was trying to up scores and interest.

I dont know if his kids will be as good as MJ. MJ sucked and what made him GREAT was his drive and motivation. Didnt he say it himself that he almost quit basketball cuz he couldnt make the team in his Freshman/Sophmore year? They told him he wasnt good enough and that drove him to get his shiet together.
