Searched "brick light" but didnt find much.

Was wondering what setups you guys were running. Im planning on an 8k HID for the outer bulbs. Can I use the stock headlight harness? Or should i convert to H4 then use an H4 HID kit.

The 8k HID should be enough for hi/low beam applications, so what are you guys using the HC3 inner lights for? Fog lights?

You shouldn't be using HID in "brick" headlights at all.

If you want HID, take a set of dual or triple rojector lights and retro-fi HID Projectors in them.

HID lights do not belong in reflector housings.

QFT... retrofit or die.

Yes those are the reflector housing or "brick" headlights as they are sometimes called. They are not suited for HID lights though. Just put standard bulbs in them and deal with the lack of useable lighting. I am.

If you want HID lighting, then do what I said. Buy yourself some dual or triple projector housings, and retro-fit some HID projectors into them. Check out HID Planet if you are still confused.

put the clear lenses on the housings and put hids in the high and low beams. then aim the high beams as far down as they will go and wire both lights to be on at the same time. id probably use the pink hids.

you wont be able to see very good but itd probably look cool

If you really must do HIDs, do not go above 6000k. Anything above that is so blue you won't see shit anyway, not that would using a HID bulb in a halogen case, but you'll really run over children with your planned setup.

I think you should sell your bumper to me to fund your lighting plans.

Drop-in HID's in halogen reflectors is a bad idea, especially in headlights with RHD beam patterns. Do what ThatGuy said, get some projector headlights and retrofit some HID projectors.
