Car driving issue

Hi, I searched and could not find anything directly related to my problem. I hope this is in the right section too.

Problem:
Sometimes when I drive my s13, my key just comes right out. This is especially annoying in turns and other times. Anyways, I dont really know how to resolve the issue so I was wondering if anyone else has has this problem.
If anyone could throw some insight into this I'd be very thankful.

My key does the same shit. But it doesnt fall out in turns or anything.

I think its because my key is a copy of a copy.

^^^ true that. Or because your car is like a million years old and therefore after so much shoving and usage that the key hole and the key eventually will wear out. Not too uncommon.

probably the key cylinder is just old and worn down. replace it.

i actually find that to my advantage. if a cop pulls you over you can lock the glove box! j/k but really seriously why would u spend time or money trying to fix it rather then learning to put your keys back in your pocket or in the center console... i actually love mine working that way. oooohhhh yeah how to fix this problem!?! its really simple, if you have a spare key find the one with the better meat on the key, the 1 least worn out and make a copy. or go to dealership, have them match the key to your number and they'll build you a copy...... i have the same issue and my spare key doesn't fall out just one of my copies..... thanks :) enjoy
