I've been searching all over the forums but I can't find a definite answer. My situation is that my input shaft bearing is on its way out. The synchros and gearset is still all good. So, I was planning to pull the tranny out and replace all the bearings while i'm at it. What I DON'T know is if the KA bearings will fit or not? I know that I can just swap to the KA tranny and just swap the bell housings. But I just wanted to know if the bearings are interchangable from ka into the sr tranny?? I don't want to waste my sr tranny if I can just replace the bearings and it'll be good to go. The bearings should cost around the same as used ka tranny, that is doing all the labour myself. So does anyone know if I can use the bearings from a KA tranny into the sr?
