A few questions for you good sir... and can you please post interior/engine bay pics.

1) Clear title?
2) Original milage?
3) How would we do a sale, I'm in Southern California? Is there a 3rd party escrow service we can use to handle the change of funds/title?

1. yes clean title.
2. original mileage is what the post states, 84,xxx.
3. i guess it would depend on whether or not you wanted to see it in person before buying, and how you plan to buy (cash/financing)...

Im currently in AIT for the Army and will be returning home July 6th so I wont be able to do much until then.

Im not entirely sure but the previous owner may have had it for sale on here... I bought it back in I think september but my priorites have changed since then... I wanted to go SR20DET but I need to focus on going back to school when I get home which means working less which means making less.

I R Confused. You'd think people from the east coast would jump on this... but yet people from the west seem to... most perplexing

however, NICE car

It is a nice car. I've been looking for a 240 with KA and good milage. SR20 is just too much of a risk in Southern California. Plus this guy has the JDM OEM package I've been looking for.

Why would anyone want to drive the car from Maine to Cali...It costs around $600 to ship. You pay $100 for airplane ticket. Put 3000 miles on the poor motor. Have to fill up gas probably 7 or so times costing you another $300 in gas. Food and lodging and you're spending more money. Unless of course you want to travel across the country for fun :)

If I were buying a car as far as I am from most of you, I would buy a round trip plane ticket to the destination, look at the car beforehand and arrange shipping to my home. This way you get to see it before you buy and you Know exactly what you're getting.

If somebody is going to fly here from somewhere and ends up buying the car I'll pay for your plane ticket (assuming you didnt book the most expensive flight and fly first class of course).

Driving across the country would be strictly for fun, but the way you put it, its sounding more like an ordeal rather than a vacation. I'll have revamp my plans.

Sounds like a good deal. I'll keep an eye on this thread, and as long as my financial situation doesn't change, you should be hearing from me as we get closer to July.

Careful of what you offer, even economy can be pricey these days. I just flew from LAX in CA to JFK in NY and back United Air Economy. Roundtrip ticket was $500.

See with the 3rd party escrow deal, you simply provide a comprehensive statement on the car, they verify it, and when it arrives at my doorstep, I simply double check to make sure you were truthful and then the 3rd party releases the funds. As long as the seller is an honest guy, its a win win situation!

I bought my 1996 240sx with 69k milages on Ebay about 5 years ago from a small dealership in Austin TX without seeing it live, and the car was just perfect.

If I have to pay a couple hundred extra bucks to move the car I will... I would rather do that than sell it to someone whos never seen it and have them not like something about it.. The car has some scratches that I think anyone buying the car should see and I know I would want to atleast see it and drive it first.

I would like to purchase your car when u get the chance!

Shipped to Southern California. I don't need to see it in person.
I trust ya. Maine is just a litttle far, and plus I don't wanna add to the miles. Just help me through the process. hopefully we'll talk soon. thanx.

I will certainly take pictures of all of the "flaws" of the car including some semi-decentg scratches that you should see before you buy. I will also take interior pics and any other pics you may want if you are truly interested in buying the car.

How far is the ride from Maine to Atl? 13-14 hours?

WanganRunner
05-25-2007, 12:53 PM
This is the rarest Kouki color, in case not everyone knew that.

Screaming deal in my opinion. The car is clean, low-mileage, and it has excellent, tasteful mods.

Whoever buys this will likely have the honor of owning the very nicest deep fuschia S14a in the country.

It also appears to be an SE without a sunroof, which is fairly uncommon, I believe.

I guess the only rarer combination would be if it were a 1998 LE in that color, 5spd, with no sunroof.

I wish we had production numbers by color, trim level, and option. I might be the only geek that cares though.

This is some good information... I must mention that though the car is clean and in good condition, there are 3 or 4 moderate scratches that everyone should see before actually purchasing the car. I will take pictures of all of them once I get home. Though the scratches are noticeable and put a damper on the cars appearance, they did not stop me from buying the car either, cuz all of the ones that are there were there when I bought it.
