This is a part I am really proud to debut. It was a year and a half in the making. It is the first part we have made in stainless. Its made by hand, in the USA, and its not perfect, but I still think it is better than anything else currently available.

The MAX Flex Cobra exhaust system combines a turbo dump elbow, downpipe, and flex section into one easy to install system that produces benefits greater than the sum of its parts.

Innovative Features:

>Half inch thick inlet flange that is straight cut between bolt holes. This is 3x as much steel as other flanges which prevents any warping from welding or heat cycling of the turbo.
>Half inch thick asymetric outlet flange eliminates leaks and failed gaskets under the car. More material on the top for strength, less on the bottom so you dont scrape it.
>Superior ground clearance without having to hammer factory metal (with manifolds that maintain OEM position). OEM heat shield must be removed. Down pipe runs paralell to the frame rail.
>Tripod tranny mount features slotted holes. Its so strong and has so much adjustability that if you mount it in its highest position it will raise the entire exhaust system so much that the cat back pipe will hit the subframe and diff.
>Dual 2 inch mandrel bent tubes used in the elbow, 3" flex section. 3" downpipe with only 1 smooth segmented bend for maxumim flow.
>Independant merged tubes in dump elbow keep turbine flow seperated from the waste gate all the way down to the flex section. Our competitors have one big collector or if they do seperate its piped back into the elbow at a not so smooth angle.
>Turbune tube extends past the flange into the turbo completely seperating both sides of the turbo to prevent turbulence and maximixe hoesepower and torque. Other companies have either a bolt on extension that does not seal properly or a flap that does not seperate flow more for more than an inch.
>Vertically oriented flex section eliminates the usual flange and gasket who's bolts are difficult to get to. It also reduces the amount of unflexable weight that hangs on the exhaust manifold. Vertical flex isolates any ground contact in the exhaust system from the turbo and manifold eliminating loose bolts, failed gaskets, and cracked manifolds. Other flex down pipes have the flex section on the bottom of the car towards the cat causing any contact with speed bumps to be transmitted directly to the turbo and manifold. Those horizontal flex section's drag on the ground because the flex is a larger diameter than the pipe which completely misses the whole point of having a flex section in the first place.
>Compatible with all bottom mounted turbos such as T25, T28, S15 turbo, GT2871R, GT25R etc. with 5 bolt outlet. Inlet flange has one slotted hole to accomodate the different 5 bolt patterns and OEM gaskets in T25 & T28 OEM turbos. For turbos with a built in divider plate it is necessary to grind off the turbine tube extension.
>Compatible with Right and left hand drive S13,14, & 15 chassis. Plenty of clearance for the steering shaft firewall and tranny.
>Compatible with above turbos and chassis equipped with SR20 or KA24 Turbo Conversion motors.
>100% 304 stainless steel ~ hand built ~ TIG Welded ~ 11 pounds

Key features: pillow ball uppers front AND REAR with top spring mount that allows unrestricted movement, Aggressive rebound damping and soft compression damping with the same damping range as 32 way systems but it only requires 8 clicks full hard to full soft. Our knob with the lip on the edge slips over the OEM button so that you can manually pull the button out for parking. Everyone else, I can tell you this stuff rocks! It is ultra beefy. To the MAX! (haha I couldn't resist). I've been to his shop many times and checked out all the parts. They are legit. Some of you might know dan as the Drift Circuit guy. The first person to get a drift event at Qualcomm Stadium (a true feat). i don't own a set yet but just by doin some research and hearing from exprience, i'd go with the max because they're made for drifting. and hearing from people who did have megans, they weren't too satisfied(cars varied).

also depends what you're gonna be using the coils for too. if you're gonna drift your car then i'd go wit the max. if you wanna just dump your car, then go with megans because i hear you can really dump your car with those.

just my opinion. but whatever your decision is it's all good cuz that's what you want ya know.

Well knowing how most drifters are we're releasing the FRP first, but if you are really a baller I'd be happy to make you the first carbon or kevlar or carbon+kevlar backed seat. We also plan to offer custom upholstry but we will likely only stock black cloth.

Regarding the review of the coilovers and a comparison to XYZ coilover:
If you are in SO. Cal. do yourself and that thousand bucks of yours a favor and show up at one of the events we are attending and ride along to see how these things drift. Anyone who tells you the product they sell is the best is just bullsh*t*ng you. So come see for yourself. If you are an amateur or pro am drifter, these coilovers are going to be great bang for your buck. If you want your daily driver to ride similar to the stock suspension go buy someone elses street spec coilover. These are called MAX competition suspension coilovers for a reason, they are great for drifting. They have pillowball uppers front and rear with spring spacers for uncompromised performance. They have urethane lower mounts instead of rubber. Compaired to most street spec coilovers with 32 way adjustability The MAX coilover softest setting is equal to the other's hardest setting with the same range of adjustment. They are aggressive. Made for drifting, not for pansys. At the same time they do a decent job damping bumps like the insane launch ramp to the infield of the Orange Show Oval. And if you do manage to somehow blow one up, replacement dampers are only $100 and are in stock, no rebuild downtime needed!

But drifting is so fun!!

Not too much difference in aggressive coilovers when it comes to drift vs. grip I think, either way you need predictability. Exactly, I'd probably run a softer setting on the dial for grip because that reduces oversteer. Also an an adjustable toe rod would be a great piece for quickly switching from drift to grip mode.

MAX ドリフト Multilink is less $, has beefier threaded rod and housing around the joints.

I would defenately recommend all of the MAX competition suspension parts for grip because drift or grip you need to eliminate as much of the OEM unpredictability as possible to drive fast and safe. looks like you tried to push out the fender to fast cuasing the arm to crack, i did this to a friends eastwood roller one time, we just welded the crack and took it slower, but you can do that or pm part shop max and see whats up.

I cant tell by the photo, but I'm hoping all of the lug nuts were on there, particularly the bottom one because those welded brackets aren't solely designed to take the force of the hand crank, they just steady the arm during the rollers rotation.

Also, the rings bunched up near the knob on the handle are spacers for your lug nuts that are flat on one side to provide a good amount of surface area and they are angle cut on the inside to match the surface of the lug nut. We provide these to prevent the base plate from bending or breaking.

Normally you wouldn't start pulling the lip outwards horizontally right away as shown in the photo. It may cause the quarter panel to dent above the wheel well. Instead you would start by mashing the lip vertically and then at a 45 degree angle, and then little by little work it flat against the inside skin of the quarter panel. After its flat, then you can start to flair the quarter panel out horizontally.

I am certainly at fault for not including instructions, so as I said before I will replace or refund - your choice.
