240SX BBQ Meet – Seneca Park,MD – July 7th

Hi guys,

Since this seems to be a tradition for VA/DC/MD 240SX owners…I say we keep it going and have a summer BBQ meet at Seneca Park, MD.

Time: noon-whenever

Place:
Seneca Creek State Park
11950 Clopper Road
Gaithersburg, MD 20878

Park entrance fee: $3 for non-MD residents, $2 for MD residents

we will scout for a spot during that day...unless someone wants to make reservations.

240SX owners from VA/DC/MD area are welcome to join in on this meet.

Now we don’t need five people bringing ketchup and six bringing napkins…I’m talking about chips, soda, burgers…you know the good stuff for a BBQ. We pretty much need food, drinks, utensils, napkins, charcoal and trash bags.

Alcohol is only welcomed for those of legal age, cause you might get carded (not by me..park police). I don’t want to see anyone getting hammered and I definitely don’t want to see any drinking and driving.

I’m going to update this post with the roster of those that are bringing something to this meet.

In the event of rain, the BBQ will be moved to the following Saturday. Is there anyone that is willing to meet up with me early?

Hmm...I would love to try to make it, as long as I can get the time off work. My roommate (SSC299) would probably come as well, as long as we can get his hatch running again by then.

The only other stopping me from saying a definate yes is that I am looking at moving and also planning a motor swap for my car, both sometime in July. So for now, put me and SSC299 as a maybe, and I will look into getting off work and will update accordingly.

And we can bring whatever is needed, so lets say we will bring plates and napkins as long as we can show. I'll keep you updated.

Yea, I know the date is kinda far away...but I wanted to get as much exposure as possible and allow proper time for people to prepare.

wow...that's quite a drive man. Well you can bring whatever you want...bring anything you can to have grilled or consumed.
