alright i've done some research but i need someone elese opinion. What kind of intercooler kit should i get? its going to be for a stock sr20det swap. later on i am going to upgrade the turbo and what not. i was looking at the greddy m-spec or maybe precision? or should i just go ebay crap? also for the greddy kit does it include the hotpipe?
thanks for the help,

Keep the SMIC for now.

When you bring up the power, purchase a quality $700+ intercooler setup.

thats a good idea but if you have to have a FMIC and you dont want to spend alot of money. buy a ebay one they are cheap and for a stock sr they will hold up pretty good.

I run a cheap ebay intercooler core and custom piping on my set up and its far from stock! i used to rum a blitz lm before i smashed up my car and then i went cheap and bought an ebay core and made my own piping. The only difference that i noticed was the $600 price difference.

I use one of the Hybrid development FMIC kits. They often have specials for Zilvia members in the advertiser and group buy section. It's a little more expensive then eBay, but worth it. I'm boosting more then stock and I'm happy with mine... no problems.

Just got my Hybird Intercooler for $425. they still offer the price at Hiprolloc.com you have to type in some code though. Search for it in the group buy section and you should find the advertisement. I like the kit cause its a large front mount and comes with all piping and couplers.

i certainly agree, the SMIC will do jhust fine for now, when you up the power to +350, then go for a nice front mount, but not too huge, greddy and Apex both make great kits that fit perfectly... i think everyone knows that

Everyone i know is running cheap XS/ebay whatever bigass fmic piping kits. I think Xo2 or godspeed is the better quality ones. Cheap and decent quality.
