Um
can style will not be quiet, it is basically a resonator or something, straight through.
If you want Can style, get something that has a muffler in line under the car, or go for something else.
Or be a man and run a loud car.

Just make sure you get one with a resonator, ie: HKS hi-power
anything without will resonate like crazy. I love setting off alarms.

not really a can, but Blitz Realize TT's are unbelievably quiet on SR's
on KA's they sound decent, kindal like the RSR Ex Mag but a lil less

Buddy club spec II is a single tip. As for quite? NOT! By far Next to the Greddy DD the Buddy Club Spec II is one on my favorite exhausts on the market. Though you will be heard with it where ever you go,as you will with the Greddy DD.

Anyway, if you really want quiet, get earplugs.

Quiet:eek3: If I only had a video camera to record my shit then you'll know what stealth and power for the streets is. I have a custom exhaust all the way from where my gutted cat starts and the only thing or should I say muffler that is welded on is a reagular ugly ass satin 3 chamber oval muffler. That muffler does wonders because I have no cat and it sounds soo so silent only when you're really at High rpm's then it sounds pretty damn harsh. Other than that it does the job really well.

I just got a HKS Ti Tip and custom 3 inch piping with a magnaflow resonator. Its super quiet but its deep, it makes lots of vibration that sets off alarms. I have yet to get a modified exhaust ticket and i always drive around nazi walnut creek police.

You could also consider the apexi ecv with whatever exhaust you choose. Easy to install and apexi advertises a minimum of 10db of silencing. When you want quiet. You got quiet. When you want to set off car alarms, you can do so.
I'd choose this over any silencers (muffler type). They make your car sound like shit. The cefiro has 76.3 mm straigh exhaust from the turbo out, 2 piece all pipe no muffler or resonator (its similar to the buddyclub exhaust). Its loud as all hell at idle. Comparable to a harley at idle (not that loud but you get the point) and when i have the ecv closed. Its sounds like i got the stock pea shooter back on.
Yea all that said don't be afraid of the loud exhaust. I just told you how to enjoy it and not get pulled over all the time :)

I know, but "quiet can style muffler" is a oxymoron
Just listing some other solutions that may help him out or give him a insight on something that is quiet

I'm not saying that it's not possible.
But he's asking for aftermarket. Which means to me that he isn't going to get one that is made custom through all of his experience and what not.
There are ways to make a can quieter of course by using silencers or resonators. But to me, I hardly ever see aftermarket can style ones that are quiet. IMHO

the apexi n1 evo is pretty quiet
i second that but, the fitments is crap hitting the drive shaft and my bumper support, i had to bend all the hangars and the whole system is rusting (i bought it new in august).
I'd say stick w/ greddy's Ti or Ti-c they are just as quiet and better made.
