I have a 95 240sx, but i hate the headlights. I wanted to know if its possible to mount 97-98 headlights on to my 95 without having to modify any other parts of the car such as the hood fenders bumper. I just want the headlights, keep 95 corner lights, and do nothing but maybe change to the 97-98 hood if i have to (if that will even fit). Anybody have any suggestions or trials with this? If i can't i guess I'll join the dream search of one day putting S15 conversion on it. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/inlove.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

nope. you need the hood/fender/headlight/bumper too i think.
or you can just get some eyelids for your 95-96.

For the whole conversion (hood, lights, corners, fenders, grille, and bumper) it's anywhere from $1200-1500 depending on where you get the parts. www.oem-car-parts.com and www.nissan-auto-parts-online.com are a good place to start. If you get all the parts from the first link it's about 1300-1400 (don't remember exactly). Of course that's all unpainted parts, and doesn't include the bumper reinforcement or front lip spoiler.

well..u cant do that..u need the whole hood fender bumper stuff..the only way to make ur 95 look somewat like 97 is to get eyelids..or u can always get the BoMex eyelid thing that goes over ur bumper..and covers part of ur headlights..it looks pretty mean..nice i must say..gonna cost ya 190 tho

I think you might be able to do this:
If... the kouki lights are offset the same distance as the zenki lights from the radiator support, and likewise the front-most point of the fenders are at the same point - which I think is true...
1) Swap the headlights and bolt those up (potential problem: the headlights might not bolt up to the zenki corner lamps)
2) If that works, swap the hood. The hood should line up just fine, and the top outer corners of the headlights should coincide with the top inner corners of the zenki corner lamps. (potential problem number two: the bottom outer corners of the headlights may not coincide with the bottom inner corners of the zenki corner lamps because the height of the kouki headlights may different)
3) If you get that far, the any zenki bumper should still work but it may still not look right.
Note: You would not be able to use a kouki bumper because it would not line up with the fenders and corner lamps, and it would not bolt up to the zenki bumper reinforcement.
Just an idea... won't know if it's possible until you try it!
hell, you could try it and if it doesn't work - buy the remainder of the parts needed to do a kouki f/e swap correctly...

in order to change your headlights, you will need to do a great deal of modification to your 95-96 hood/fenders
nothing will line up at all
95-96 corners will not fit..
If you change the hood, you need to change the fender (it overlaps).
there will be gaps everywhere.
It'll be cheaper for you just to get euro-spec glass headlights or try to fit r32 lights on the car.
