This is what I would suggest if you have the money for it.
TE37
Work Meister
SSR Professors
AME Circulars
or even
XD9, CR Kai, or 57 Opt and Max
Your choice it's your car. Just don't get Rotas, Drag, or Sportmax and your good in my book. Anything Work, Volk, Rays, or AME if your on the baller status.

Buy quality forged wheels because cast wont last too long espcially if you daily drive you're car everyday. Its depressing seeing all those nasty chips all over bad ass looking wheels.

Look at other peoples cars, look through magazines, look at more peoples cars, then study fitment.
Then study fitment some more, learn about offsets, then study fitment some more.
After that, then I'm sure you'll decide on something.
Otherwise its as vague as asking what color blue you should paint your car.

$1k won't get you any nice new wheels, just decent used wheels.
quality=money
bad ass=more money

you better get what everyone on the forums like, or else they'll call you a fag!
but seriously when it comes to rims try not to settle on something because you're antsy..hold out for what you really like
if you really like cheaper rims, then eff it, pick them up

they're alright. my cousin has them for his STI. if you're in that price range, might as well get some work emotion something or other. unless you're getting the 17x7 junk.

There are plenty of really nice wheels for under 1k. Plenty plenty plenty. More if you open it up to used. People who run multithousand dollar wheels on a 1500 dollar sports car make me smile.
