hrm....just wondering how come nissan didn't put the SR20VE engine on the new Sentra's SE-R's??? well hopefully nissan bring the S-15 over to da state and just install the SR20VE engine <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> .....

what are the specs on these engines? the sr20ve and sr16ve?

the sr20ve is 174 hp i beleive and the sr16vvl n1 engine is 210 hp all motor.

this is not in the s15 silvia its in the primeras.

reason i know about these is due to me owning and frequently visiting the sentra se-r boards

on the new p12's (primeras) the sr20ve will produce 205 hp

there is also a sr20vet in the suv in japan called the x trail.

i've read about this. they only have 137-140 lbs of torque i think. do you know how much torque they have for sure? still a good motor for today's import standards but if i really read that right, about the torque, that engine's just not too impressive, coming from nissan.

no the torque is not ther but high revving engine similar to hondas v tech

its still a nice idea i might consider it for my auto sentra se&reg;
