ok so today i was backing out of my driveway and my downpipe caught a bump and stopped my car :-/ so i drove forward and shut it off. the o2 housing/j pipe or wat ever its called disconnected form the top 2 bolts form the turbo. but stayed connected wit the bottom ones. and it was just hanging. i guess it popped off the nuts. so it looks like the studs are bent. can they be taken out and how do i take them out? im also gonna need another j pipe cuz it doesn't seems straight no mo.

Get a straight edge on that outlet flange and see it it is flat.

If you want to get them out take 2 wrench's and put 2 nuts on the stud and use them to back the stud out. You could also put a nut on it and use a bar to bend it back into form. It would be a lot easier if you take the turbo off the car.

Need to ether deck that flange or buy a new one or you'll never get a good seal.

I think you are going to have to remove the turbo to get those broken bolts out. Easiest way is to remove the oil and water lines and then unbolt the manifold from the head. Removing the manifold and turbo. Fix/replace the studs and bolts. Install the outlet then drop the whole unit back in.

garrett sells replacement housings if its a higher end turbo. otherwise if its a t25 or a t28/gt28r/etc just snag someones blown shit and swap housings (gaskets while you're in there can help). shitty luck man sorry to hear it!

thanx dudes. im gonna try to just get the studs out wit that 2 nut method, if its too hard then i'll take the whole mani/turbo out and so on. i order a new outlet and it comes wit all the studs. oh yea by the way its just the t25

It would be cheaper to get a new housing than to resurface it/replace the bent flange.. Sucks bro.
