Picking up my S14b this friday!

I can't wait, it's a 98 240SX SE with 58,000 miles. White pearl, 5-speed, tinted windows, clairon CD player, Polk 6&1/2 speakers in front and back. Loaded with everything except for leather interior. I plan on modding it a little bit but nothing huge and a little body work. Looking forward till friday so much.  Wish me luck nothing unexcepted happens.

To get leather in '98, you had to order an LE, which had it and the sunroof standard.

The SE had the sunroof as an option, and I guess most of them had it.

Well I'm picking up my baby this saturday mourning now. She couldn't get off work so I have to go pick it up about 115 miles away. I don't think I can sleep a wink. I'm paying 13,000 for it, interely way to much, but I drove it and it is in perfect condition, and it is the one I want so I'm willing to pay the price. Pray for me that everything goes down right. Once I get it I will post some pictures. It is a really a beauty.

Now, I just have to think of a nice lady name to call her.

at 13k i don't think you're overpaying by that much. with 58,000 maybe by like 500 at the most. i got my 98 w/30k for 13.5 from a dealership so i dunno... although i have heard of people getting them for as low as 10k w/less than 20k miles on them, but those are the guys that rob grandma blind <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> !

edit: o yea, welcome aboard! here's to enjoying your car. and as a side note, in reality there really is no s14a or b, if you really wanna get technical you should just use the year, i.e. 95-96, 97-98... not sure about whether the MC (minor change) is official or not.

Well I coculd have had my pick of 97-98's in the midwest for around $9k even at dealerships, but those were all slowtomatics. &nbsp;All the good, low milage 5speeds were on the coasts.

$13k is a bit high, but not outrageous.

I robbed grandma. &nbsp;$8500 for my '97 LE with 55K miles. &nbsp;Lady had already bought another car so I had her up against a wall.

But hey, for a white 5-spd like you found, I would pay 13K in a second. &nbsp;

Actually, my '92 white SE is still my favorite. &nbsp;If I still had it, it would have a SR in it FOR SURE. I have what I think is a better looking car, but I also have PAYMENTS. Does the car have the LSD / ABS package?

I don't think it has the LSD/ABS package. I really don't care about ABS, it makes you stop slower, but limited slip would be nice but nothing big.

Fromt the reactions I have seen on this board about LSD, it is sumthin big. But i guess its more noticeable on AutoX or if you drive all crazy.

f'n dealership gave too much for trade in, i got 98 w/roof/abs/lsd/cd/cass for 15k, which was $100 over what they had into it..........so all you fuckers can just go piss off.

check this out, I got my 98 black 240sx se lsd+abs, auto, no sunroof w/5500mi for $9500 in 2000. Not too bad eh? I like the auto for daily driving, but i would rather have a manual. I think the auto makes me beat the car alot less.
