on my sr'd s13, when sitting at a stop light with the A/C on, the car temperatures will start to rise. im guessing that there should be an electric fan that turns on with the A/C?
if so, should there be a plug somewhere to activate the ac fan? where would it be located?
any help would be great. thank alot

from what ive seen not all 240's have a clutch and an electric fan. mine does. the plug for the electric fan is on the passenger side hanging by the battery......
get the FSM for s13 and find out the wire you need to ground.
the AC wiring are standalone from the ecu harness (except for two ac relay wires). The wire hits the relay, grounding the pressure switch, which grounds the compressor. all this should trigger the IACV and AC fan at the same time.
Or you can just go to the fuse box for the fan HI/LOW relay and ground the blue wire (i think). there's a writeup on 240sx.org somewhere.

so if the wiring is on its own, can i just go to the junk yard and get that specific wire harness?
why would you need the wiring harness? you already have a plug there, it's next to the dryer. check to see if you have the E-fan there. (it's between the clutch fan and rad)
