My mom's a special one... she doesn't like flowers/jewelry/clothes/etc, she appreciates work around the house, and stuff she can use. Coffee makers, can openers, sprinklers, and the such have been popular gifts in the past, but this year I'm redoing her garage door (water rotted) this weekend.
Yeah, probably didn't help... lol

Haha, how much was the lunch?
Uh, so far I got a card for my mom and 1 for my grandmom. My mom would definitley be more into getting help moving from her house than any crap I'd pay for. So yeh, thats what I'll likely be doing.

Mom's are important to each and every one of us no matter how we grew up, so I think taking a little time to appreciate them for all their work throughout your upbringing would be the least we can do. They used to spend countless hours and years feeding us, a simple thing you can do that'll go a long way is to cook a nice meal for your mother.
Just an example.

Oh snap u just hooked it up with an idea for next mothersday woot. I hope I dont forget it even though I might.
But yeah no need for you sucka's too put too much thought into it. Was sitting at home earlier today with sqwuat well knowing I needed to see my mom soon, thought for two seconds, then went out to buy the stuff. All I needed to score was one little card with genuine honesty and not too much b.s written on it and one cute ass stuffed elephant from toys r us. BAM
