hey im looking to buy a sr set and i found this site http://japangeneraljdmmotors.com/ and they have a set for 1800 shipped and i was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. or if anyone can recommend anywhere else to get a motor set...... thanks any info would be helpful

you get what you pay for. Stick with known suppliers, it will be worth it in the long run.

i would agree, i went to a no name and ended up with no ignitor, sometimes common, but not a crushed ecu, broke cas ,4th injector smashed and bent fuel rail. and i was told oh well, must of been the shipping! my @$$!!! any way they gave me a new ecu the rest i had to pay for. after 2 years of trying to get the parts the swap is done and i wish i could have just did right at first!

Don't ever cheap out you will regret it in the end.
oh my motor came from osaka..
don't not order from them though they generaly have a very good rep.
i went through a company local who orders from them and they go get the motors and take them to ther wharehouse where sh#% falls on them and breaks things.... neway good luck to you

I have been to Japan General and it is allright, however I would not buy from them if I couldn't see it in person / comp test them myself.

Why don't you ask Imports specialists or any other known supplier that sells good engine / honors their warranties?

If you're not local and you buy from almost any Montreal shop, you will get screwed. Especially Osaka.
