I have 4 gallons of AVgas (100 octane) to use that I was going to use in my race truck but decided to run VP110 instead. So here I have some AVgas ready to be burnt.
Just wanting to know if its ok to run AVgas in a sr? I dont see why not. I'm planning on putting the 4 gallons in and then putting 4 gallons of 87 (highest in my town and about out of gas). That should make it about 93.5. Any problems with AVgas in sr's I dont know about?

at the airport i worked at, our 100LL was just that. LL = low lead. it was leaded. you better be careful. lol.
all we had was Jet-A, and 100LL. i have no idea how common/uncommon 100 octane UNLEADED avgas is. im not familiar with it. but i am also not too familiar with a ton of aviation stuff. i just worked ground support for like a year.
here is a link that might help you out

all higher octane does is help the engine from not combusting prematurely.. wont give u a boost or anything

I used to run 100LL in my KA all the time, it does not give you a boost or anything. I have also heard that the lead helps prevent detonation, and so does higher octane.

He's using it in his car, not mixing it with gin for a tasty after-work beverage.

No cat. Test pipe
I've heard and read lead helps prevent detonation also. Lead is a pre-detonation additive I believe.
AVgas stands for aviation gas. Airplane gas. AVgas has a lower volatility than mogas. That the only major difference I can see.
It is 100LL.
Lead is actually better for your engine; bad for the environment.
I mainly just was to use up that 4 gallons is all I want to do. Good looking for big gains or anything. Just some fuel to burn and just wanted to make sure there is nothing I was over looking with it that might hinder my engine.
