Looking to see if anyone here can verify that a Kirk Racing bolt in roll bar for S14's clear the sunroof?
I've searched high and low, and have found mainly that autopower makes a sun roof car bar, but have also read that the Kirk products > Autopower in terms of bar metarial and strength. The other thing Iv'e been fighting are threads from 04/03 :/
Thanks for any help!

yeah, it was intended for a non-sunroof. if you get the non-sunroof model you can make it fit! you have to cut about 1-1.25" off each end of the main hoop, then reweld the plates back on. then you have to cut off around the same amount for the rear downbars and drill new holes for the piping couplers.
cheeseball shot i got before i welded on front downbars/doorbars/halo bar

Thanks the information! I had assumed that would be the answer, but wasn't sure how the sliders and etc still fit.
One more question: Does it require the removal of those rear side interior pieces?

yes, remove them, then mock up a hole in them. again that pic was just taken during my fitment process, now i put holes in each side piece and a slit so it can slide over the bar. the rear slider pieces still work a-ok, just cut at either end of the actual downbar, then drill a new hole on the side you cut for the bolt to go through the slider piece and the newly cut downbar. the main hoop part sucks, because once you cut the main hoop bottoms off you have to reweld the plates back on (its best to do this with the main hoop in the car, for leveling issues). all interior can go back in after your done, gutted interior isn't cool :)

I'm a full weight, full option'd car yet, so good to hear I don't need to remove those pieces entirely :D
Thanks again for the help...I finally have gotten around to the realization that when i'm going 120+ at HPDE events, that some sort of safety measures need to be taken...otherwise I'd be silly.

mine is in with full interior also
you could probably just talk to the kirk dudes and tell them to cut off 2-3 inches off each leg or whatever, i had them add an extra crossbar to mine, it was like 60 bucks. theyll add custom shit.
