has anyo ne here faced this problem? If yes, what did you do to solve it?

I know you can do a variety of things, but I just want to have an idea of what most of you think is best to do.

you can drill it out and helicoil it. You can use a keensert. You can weld it up and drill out a new fitting. You can drill it out, tap it larger and put an adaptor fitting inline.

there is this stuff called super77 it is a blue rtv based high temperature thread locker. the stuff is amazing just goob it up with that, or red rtv.

i got a pin hole in my radiator and i drained it. cleaned it with brake cleaner and put some red rtv on the hole, and it held for 6 months till i got a new rad.. i would have never done that but i was in some financial trouble and didnt have a dime to my name.
