If you get a call from a digitized voice claiming to be from Paypal security services about some recent suspicious activity on your account it is a scam.
The number is (800) 830-8574
I went to the Paypal website because i was suspicious. Called the (888) number on the website and verified that it is a fraud. They are investigating. I have also left a message with Cox Cable consumer affairs about it. So do not call that number or give your info. Paypal will only call you with a LIVE person about your account.

just another heads up for any fellow investors, anyone that has an e*trade account, there is a scam going on with that also...its along the same lines asking for confidential information via email...if you get an email from e*trade asking for passwords, social, etc. do not click on the link or fill in the fields!!!

I believe this is also going around in an email... I've received it a couple times as well. Ignore/delete it.

Thanks for the heads up, I just opened my a Paypal Account of my own, so I can stop using my friends, so I would have most likely been screwed!!
