rear defrost not working

'90 fb  w/112,000 miles

my rear defrost went out a few months ago.  I havent' used it in a long time and during that time i had a stereo system put it, and maybe a few weeks later the rear defrost wouldn't work.  The fuse, the switch, and the power to the switch is fine, but somewhere between the switch and the rear defrost it gets shorted or broken off.  I am wondering if there is a wiring diagram for my problem, I don't think that my chilton's has it, so if there are websites or if anyone had the same problem please tell me about it.

you get tint done on the car at all? Like tint removal, then new tint put on. I know that can physically cut off some of those heat lines, and that'll stop it from working.

I forsee myself having the same problem... I've been trying to be delicate removing the previous owner's university sticker but it's a pain to try not to cut/break/scratch those lines.
Try checking them for cracks/breaks, I suppose.

i do have poorly installed tint on there from the previous owner, but i haven't touched it since i got it, i checked the connectors that are at the rear window and there is no power going to them, what i need is a wiring diagram to trace the wires from the switch to the rear defrost to find the problem.
