In case anyone is curious I thought I would post it. This is the latest LS1 swap that XAT has just completed. nit about a 12k job( slightly less) but it sounds bad and is really fast!
I'm pretty sure most of you will hate it because its an american motor etc... but for those interested, enjoy. There are a few vids too.

Sounds great and looks like top notch work. On the other hand $12,000 nets you 320-350whp on a 70,000 mile engine?

Damn, what a sleeper... Pull up to somebody, they don't see a FMIC, they think stock, take off and its all LS1 power =) I like it, but I'm still gonna put an SR in mine :bigok:

Fast is Fast...
winning's winning
i still, and probably will always hate the idea of an ls1 240...
doesn't seem ethical to me, but if someone can pull it off and whoop people's asses, i'm proud of them

for sure...
i just don't like the idea of putting an engine from an entirely different car into a 240sx when you could efficiently get more power and torque from the stock engine for less money
seems like people are doing it because it's cool... and i see a lot of people here bagging on RHD conversions

Pretty sweet swap but... Are you fucking kidding me?? After all that work he is rolling on Sportmax???????????? Whack. Guess after the swap he didnt have enough money left over for something better.
And he shifts like a girl (one who cant drive).

Well, if you all read closely, when XAT^ does the LS1 swap, it includes the tuning and all the wiring to us ethe stock 240 Gauge cluster and the AC blows mad cold ( in other words, all the little shit is done right too!)
I agree the sport max's look booop, but that what the guy had on it when it rolled in??

I think that's lame. I would have rather have a tuned rb, over the ls1, any day.
Any minute, scratch that, any second. Oh well, screw it, I would never put a domestic motor, in my car. My reasoning is, whatever "nationality" of car you choose to buy, you should stick with it. Don't crossbreed. Just my .02

SInce your gonna hate and just pick out the bad, he is putting on Pro welds next weekend, and the driver is the tech who is 6'4" and is wearing rubber gloves with oil on them.....
Of course you've never missed a shift huh. Thanks anyway. This is the third LS1 240 XAT has done also.

True many pepz feel that way, but this car is sooo much better on a long term basis. Parts are easy to access and any redneck on the street knows how to work on it.

I love LS1 swaps as well. There is a major difference between a 450whp KA-T, SR, and RB in comparison to a LS1. For one the LS1 will be pretty much stock, not stressing the motor, making good gas milage, and making the 430ft/lbs of torque to match the 450whp at 1800 rpms.

^^^i totally agree. it's funny, all the hating comes from 240 owners. "oh you need to keep it japanese" "you need to stick with the original motor". whatever. I've had the swap done since dec and get nothing but love from the domestic owners. they think its a great swap.

Dude, I already said that the swap itself is sick... But seriously, 16x8s to try and get all that power to the ground? And I read about his new wheel setup. 15x4 in the front and 15x10 in the rear... Hahahaha. Great drag setup but itll still look like ass on the street.
And everybody misses shifts sometimes... I just tend to not post videos of me doing it. :duh:
