Tech3 is a good shop. I haven't had problems with them.
Although I bring my cars to Auto Innovations in Milpitas for alignments.
Screw Wheelworks, they're service blows and they always trying to sell you shit you don't need.

Yeah, Auto Innovations is definitely good choice. Custom alignments and very cool guys.

heard nothing but bad stuff about tech3. autoinnovations is pretty good for custom alignments esp if you have aftermarket suspension arms and such. there was a place up here i forgot where though where they have and alignment rack made for lowered cars. if i find out what the name of the place is ill post it up.

I heard of a guy around S. San Jose that all of the Suby guys go to but could never find it. I lost the thread that had it, but it is some were around or off the almaden express way

couldn't help droping my .02, tech 3 in the past was a joke. Don't know bout now.
As for alignments, wouldnt know what to recommend since i do my own alignments on my car. I guess auto innovations since they're pretty reputable and must be good if they do custom aligments.

Tech3 fixed my alignment that originally was done by Auto Innovations. They(AI) left ALL off my shit loose. The toe was way off and made my tires wear out in 3 months, camber arms we not tightened, and my tc rods were not tight either. Tech3 is better than Auto Innovations IMHO. That was just my experience though.

If you have dough and want the best of the best, check out custom alignment. http://www.customalignment.com/ They also do corner balancing if you have coilovers.

i've gone to wheel works before, but only because i knew two guys there and they knew what custom alignments were all about. one year warranty is always good too. that translates to free alignment before every track day for a year.

I think Custom Alignment is the place my buddy keeps telling me about. He also told me that it is about $500.

$500 for alignment!? For that price he better come to the track with me and make all changes I ask for.

Well Custom Alignment isn't exactly for everyone... I used to bring my car there when I needed a corner weight etc for Open Track/Road Race events where it matters, but honestly hardly any drivers can even tell so it's not worth the investment.

I've gone to both Tech3 and AI... they're both better than wheel works IMO, I would never bring my car to wheel works unless Corey was working there changing tires for me LOL

I didn't know that shop did corner balancing also . If that's the case, then it's well worth the money.
