painted eyelids on a black car looks alright sometimes.... that huge awful hood extension thing that looks like a hood spoiler.. no way... if your upgrading a zenki.. go german glass headlights and leave them as is.. kouki's dont need any mods really (maybe painting the insides black a little or something though

I agree. Eyelids are not cool, the car looks way better without them.

Although I agree as well, several years ago I welded a set on to an extra hood just to see what it looked like. As a molded in piece it looks a LOT better than separate pieces, whether painted or stuck on. Sadly that hood passed away when it opened at 90MPH.

That's mostly in part to the fact that the rest of the car was executed very well.
Anything can look good, as long as the overall execution is on point.
But if you just put eyelids on a stock zenki, it will probably look assy.

We don't have any Zenki light lying around. They would have to be glass to handle the vacuum infusion process.

I wish you had some sitting around. I no longer haave headlights and don't plan to run any...I want dummy lights

thats what i want to hear. i wish zenki owners would stop trying to make their zenkis look like koukis. but if u must, just take black tape like someone already said and make them for free. if you dont like em, take em off.

I do have a pair of eyelid that I had on the car a year ago. I removed them because the paint was not matching perfectly. Now that the car has been repainted, I might try them back on but I am pretty sure I won't leave them on. I like the zenki look over the kouki but it's all a matter of personal taste.

whys everyone gotta think about zenki->kouki when there are several styles around. i think they make a car look distinct and im bettin noone around you has them, so it would stand out from many of the same looking cars. if you cant decide, dare to be adventurous and get some tape and make the look of a eyelid you want and look.

Its ugly on most cars. We are talking about your car though, do what you want with it.
Do people seriously need an ok from a message board before buying something??

I painted mine on about 5 years ago. I like them less every year. I will probably sand them off this summer and paint the corners orange for that R32 look. Do what makes you happy. If you dont like em, you can always sell them.
