Anybody have a review for this? I've esearched and can't find crap?? ANy known problems? it should hold 10-15 boost correct? I only want to know about the RS not the R or the S thoughI have a chance to get one with the pipe and flange for a decent $ and was wondering what negatives there are to this BOV? Thanks

ive searched and found stuff before..... actually i think it was on FA
however i actually have one now and ill give you my opinion. ive heard good things about but in my dealings i hate it. i wish i had gotten a ssqv. mine leaks like hell and so i went to adjust it and the set screw was crossthreaded. as soon as i tightened it, the threads stripped. now it came like this out of the box so i figured call greddy and they will make it right.... wrong. the guy on the phone kindly told me to fuck off. actually it was more along the lines of "there is absolutely no possible way it came that way so you must not be telling me everything". so it was more of a kindly fuck yourself and youre a liar all at once. so i took the bitch apart and jerry rigged it.
the valve i guess sounds cool (thats what everyone tells me) i however couldnt care less. i just wish it didnt leak and whatnot.
my 2 cents

i loved mine while i had it on my car. it was loud and did well for the 14 lbs of boost i had it on. the only problem from the RS is that it doesnt hold boost past that. i always had leak if i ran higher than 14 so i sold it and bought the new ssqv.

I blew the diaphram outa my RS BOV. Ran 19psi for a while and then i did a boost leak test and found it leaking all the time. Switched to a Greddy R BOV with soft spring. Works beautifully.

I never ran more than 10 lbs on my otherwise stock s14sr motor, so my rs bov never gave me any issues to date. it works just fine. probably the only complaint is that its a bit too noisy. cops will def notice it, and it gets a bit old after a while. I'll prob switch it out for a tial bov when and if i go with a higher boost application. I'm also a bit reluctant to get another greddy product. seems like there are a lot of QC issues with them these days.

What does your Type R Sound like? Can you hear it at all? - depending on boost im sure I was told it sounds like some some "Sighing"
And what Turbo are you running on it?

Type RS sounds like shit, and has been known to leak. It leaked on my friends GST. Another friend of mine purchased one and hated it.
