They put a lot in to the multiplayer with the customization and all, but there are a few bugs here and there. Hopefully an update will pop up soon but I still love the game.

After playing Rainbow Six Vegas, the multiplayer in COD4 is kinda easy. You barely have to aim to kill someone. The only time I get my ass kicked is when I play in a room full of people that are in the same clan.

DELL is overpriced and just plain sucks for gaming. These days you could make a decent pc for like 400. try and stick with Asus(name of a computer brand) motherboard, Amd cpu(better then intel for gaming). like I said dont bother buying the most expensive stuff out on the market(it will be obsolete and worthless in 3 months anyways)...just get the stuff that a little older and alot cheaper.

I don't think they added prestige mode on PC yet. I just got back into the game though, so maybe I just haven't looked hard enough.

My favorite gun is definately the M14 with red dot. I also like using the skorpion because its the same gun as the Klobb in Goldeneye :P

A little update: Wow, this game is incredible. I gave it another shot and realized it wasn't as hard as I thought. Only played it a few more times and I'm already lv.11. Even got first in a free for all game. Better than halo IMO. I played halo a lot too. Different type of game I guess. It's addicting because I just want better guns. Haha.

This game is amazing. I'm lvl 49.. Love the m14 and g36c w/ red dots.

If you play headquarters a lot you level up extremely fast. At least 400 exp per level and it's a lot of fun.

mostly i play on search and destroy, so i take my silence very serious. plus i don't think it really counts if after a you have the most kills on your team with 26 kills but 32 deaths!:fawkd:

I personally go FFA to S&D when I start a new profile. Get those weapon bonuses quickly... then move on. It helps when you can finish in the top 3 consistently for FFA though.

What the size of your processor? For example I have a AMD 64X2 5200+ haven't tried the game on my PC but I play it on my PS3. Another of my friends has a AMD 64 3200+ and it plays on his comp.

ummm i am not sure...but from what i heard...is that the PS3 people can pay a monthly fee and play with the PC people...i guess it works vise versa from what i see...but not exactly sure

the hacked tags is done on a PC, but then is transfered to the ps3. using memory cards and blah blah blah.



been addicted to this game. i didnt know they kept track of kills/dreaths/wins. so im tryin to fix what i fucked up.

im just about a 1.5 ratio kill/death trying to get to a 2-1. i was at a .70 or something when i figured out they were tracking it :(

i dont like how your rank is determined by the amount you have instead of your ratio. for example you are ranked better by the more kills u have instead of you kill to death ratio

I'm close to lvl 55...just 3,000 odd points away. I'm fine with ranks dependent on XP points rather than KD ratio. I would get frustrated if that was the case...especially when your play HQ on the "shipment" stage. I rank up crazy points but also die ever 20 seconds.

I just hit level 55 a couple of days ago on pc. I was kind of disapointed at how easy it was. All you get is a gold desert eagle and some new challenges. I hope they come up with some new maps and stuff soon because I get bored easily.

colored names serve no purpose, it's just different. what you do is transer your saved info onto a usb card, open it on pc, open the file called "ps3", open the file "grapo_mp" or something with a hex editor, on the right of all the numbers you will see 'clan tag' under that put ^1 or ^'any single digit number here' (each has a different color) then any 2 letters or numbers after that you want for your clan tag.

a guy i play with told me how to do it, but i changed my mind since you can only have two letters/numbers for a clan tag.

as for k/d i don't know, i think it's 1.5 or something, but my win to lose ratio is alright, i am ranked in the 4000's, although a buddy of mine is rank 87.

The new maps were double points over a short period so they kinda had to single them out. They'll eventually ween them into S&D and the others when most of the CoD4 players buy the maps. It's like what they did with GoW
