It's a pretty badass car. One question I have though is, what are the 2 pipes passing through the trunk? I thought it could be exhaust but then there is some stuff underneath the rear. I'm lost so would someone enlighten me? Did I mention the car kicks ass?

I love that car, it was my pride and joy in GT2 when I didn;t even know much about Silvias.
The pipes most likely are for gas, all JGTC (are those the right initials) have thise holes for gas, instead of the stock placing.
You wanna scan those pics, or are they on the SS site?

That car could beat most cards in GT2. Anyways, they don't have it on the SS site yet and I don't have a scanner but here is a rear pic. In SS it looks like they have the holes plugged but in this one they look unplugged.

Wow, that car is insane. Top rear of the trunk lid...that exhaust or some sort of ducting to help with aerodynamics?

The pipes are for gas.. I think I asked this question a long time ago on FA on another car(skyline I think). I won a playstation GT3 contest at last years Comic convention in chicago. Everyone had to use the supra though but it didnt matter cause I still kicked ass. I was pissed though cause I only got a gt3 shirt and some playstation(1) bag

HA! I touched both those cars. Well actually the CWEST was the s15 JGTC car, but close enough. Ok who ever wants to touch the hand of the guy that thouched both those cars, the line forms to the right.

Oh yeah - well I touched an Audi R8 and a Panoz whateverthehellthe LMP-900 car is. Race cars from point blank range are SOOO much more impressive.
Mark -who realizes that around here a car that costs 10X as much and goes way faster isn't nearly as impressive

Or this bit of goodness that shows up at Summit Point occasionally:

Of course, the wicked M3 that PTG brought along was kinda nice too.

Nope - I did get a good look at the NGP though. All the LMP cars are just sick! It took me a while to figure out what a longitudinally mounted single shock absorber on the nose of the car does! Pit/paddock passes were the best $10 I ever spent. I probably spent as much time wandering in pits as I did watching racing (b/c the sightlines sucked!.
Of course, I'm kicking myself b/c a few of the guys I know wound up crewing for some of the SWC Touring guys. Free admission for getting a little grease on your hands (oh yeah, and spending most of the day hanging out w/ the drivers ).
The 2 holes are for a 2-pipe dry-break fueling rig. One hole is for entering fuel, the other for exhausting air so the fuel flows as fast as possible. Dry-breaks initially came from the aerospace industry. They basically only open when the two are inserted and close immediately upon disengagement for faster fueling without risk of spillage.
