Hi, I've already searched about this issue and read that it could be the heatshield, but my rattling only happens in very low speeds when i'm coming to a stop or going from a stop. i've kicked around the exhaust a few times and figured it wasnt the exhaust, i was thinking maybe something in the suspension or underbody.. is this the heatshield issue? if someone can clarify it it'd be very helpful. thanks.

it could be the heat shield on the cat

If you have exhaust tip finishers it may be that.

I have the same problem, took the heatshield off the manifold, and it's still there, i'll try the one on my cat.

back when I had a KA the downpipe heat shield did this, I would just remove all the old heat shield you can, it eventually all rattles

i took off my downpipe heatshield and my rattle went away. its a pain in the ass to get off but all it took was some elbow grease and finess.

problem was answered.

get under the car and rip off any heatshields that rattle. and don't park over dry grass ever again.

do you have a stock cat... if you do... take it off and see if the honeycombs are still intact... I had that same problem too and i fixed it by gutting my cat...

let kill the ozone together! =)

no... i got a new cat.. i'm not mean...

i had that same problem but mine was caused by the heater core(i think). after i removed it i didn't have that problem any more. that's with a header and no heat shield.

well, it defiantly is from the exhaust. I am just wondering if the shield helps at all
