Ive had this situation where my rear view mirror comes loose(i have to adjust the mirror often) after a driving awhile or in the hot sun. Does anyone else have this annoying problem? Is there a way to fix it or is it best to just buy a new one? any help would be great.

There is a little screw behind the mirror; it is in the bottom towards the center. Take a small phillips head screwdriver and righty tighty. lefty loosey.

Please keep negative comments to yourself! This can probably be locked.

Thanks!

I will be trying this in like 20min. I will post up how it works, if this thread is not locked.

i thought that little screw was common knowledge. My mirror used to come loose from bass/heat.
I have found that the adjustment becomes less effective over time, and sometimes a junkyard mirror is needed.

after a point, it may actually not work any more,
guess when it gets hot, the mirror housing is plastic, screw is metal = stripped thread or something

then i just bought it off someone...
