ok well I've been searching for a bit and cant find any thing.
the other day i took my car out for a spin (i haven't driven out past my block for bout 2-3 months) well any ways i got my friends shop and when I'm leaving i goto start my car i put the key in and well the nothing happens n the clock just dies after i remove the key it comes back on. so i think hum maybe its just a weak battery so i try again this time the clock just dies and this time doesn't come back on. so i check my circuit breaker and the fuses and everything is fine. so i get my friend to give me a jump start but nothing happens. ive tested the battery n everything is ok. so now my car has no power what so ever. the clocks arent on and the lights dont go on. so im not sure what it is.

i had the same problem with my 240, i had enough volts but when i went to crank it my voltage dropped below 9 volts. I juss replaced my battery and everything worked.

do you have your battery reloacated? maby you should look behind the steering wheel and see is a whire came loose on the ignition. or look for burnt wires or a "burnt" smell.

make sure your battery terminals are tight on the posts on the battery. if they are then follow the ground and make sure where it bolts to the chassis is tight, and the engine is tight. as far as the positive, it runs to your starter and alternator, make sure both those nuts are tight. if all that is good, then pull on the battery cables, spin around three times, and say oOOOOooo BUKAKE!! @

sounds like a loose connection, either power or ground.
you already checked voltage at your battery, check voltage INSIDE the cabin of the car. also, just because a battery has sufficient voltage, doesnt mean it has amperage. whats the condition of your battery? do your headlamps turn on, and are they bright? all of that should be checked.

you should try to grind the battery terminals with a grinder or a file. maybe there is too much residue on there.

ok well i got a volt-meter. i check my batt n it is 12.6v then i went the the front and check with everything attached and it was .67v so im thinking it might be a loose ground wire somewhere. any ideas?

i finally had more time today to work on it today. and i found out that the wiring from the battery that goes to the alternator fuse is the one that is draining all the power. i looked in the fuse box n everything looked ok. i even took it apart and all of the sudden the power in my car went back one. then i went to test it and start it and well the electrical system took another crap on me. so i dont know exactly what is going on. if anyone could plz help me.

Sounds like a short, look for wires melted together in that box or open wires grounding on the chassis

my guess is you have a short on your power wire trace it through your car, how did you run this wire? perhaps it got clipped by somethign?

haha dont you hate when that happens...those unknown shorts or loose connections? yeah just open up the box and maybe even the wire loom and look for open lines, a buddy had something similar prob where the maf wires was rubbing up on the intake plenum and after sometime finally cut through.
