i put my car up on craigslist to see if there's interest for my car. there has been, but not what i want. u guys think i'll have better luck taking off the turbo stuff and just selling it n/a. obviously for cheaper though. i'm thinking like $2500. it's rebuilt, new springs/shocks, perfect a/c, and tons of new parts.

Pics are too damn small and you need more shots of interior and rest of body. SOHC I'm guessing? Could be the reason why, not a lot of interest in that motor.

2500 seems reasonable as long as it has a clean title, mileage is under 200k, and needs no major repairs. I think the fact that you leave out the mileage and VIN (at least I could not see it, if it was infact listed) may deter some potential buyers. Yeah, as another poster mentioned more pics could help with the sale.

also try posting on other sites, like honda-tech and club4ag. it just takes 1 buyer to seal the deal, so it helps to take advantage of all the free advertising you can get.

Looks like a nice car. I agree with what the other guys said about the pics being a little small. Also you might wanna break the paragraph up a little to make it easier to read. If you put alot of work into that car dont settle until you get a price that your happy with.

Yeah I agreed. Break up your paragraphs in order to make stuff stand out. Otherwise it just looks so jumbled together and makes it hard to read. GL with the sale.

^ What he said. Plus, the passenger window is dead and the interior is gutted. I really don't see why someone would want to buy a car that's missing half the shit it came with.

Try putting it on autotrader. ..that seems to be where the dumb rich kids shop for 240's.

Agreed. I got my 89 about a year ago for $1900 and it had full interior and was right under 200k miles.

They say patience is a virtue. Just give it time my man, unless that time has already passed in which case you might want to cut your losses and get what you can.

that's a pretty good deal for a boosted KA-E.. as long as the body is rustless and there's nothing big wrong with the car, i would pick it up if i didn't live thousands of miles away from yah. Plus it's a rebuilt KA-E too, so it's good for a good 100k-150k more...

right now it's around 200/200 at the wheels. but i would need bigger injectors before i started going any higher with psi.

That is a decent ad but you still make the consumer have to read through a mie of bullshit to get to what they want to know. mileage price and pictures. thats all anyone is looking for.
i have had some of the best luck selling cars by just puting a listing that said: for example,
"2002 Audi A4 Quattro 67k miles $15998 (pics)."

Leave the person reading the ad with some questions so they call or come look at it rather than eliminate it because you had such a detailed description, that they think they know everything about it, and they eliminate it from their search bc of one little thing.
As far as your sale goes. I would take the turbo set-up off, take the exhaust off, and the guages. And put it up on here for 1500 bucks. As long as all that stuff is legit brand name products someone will buy that package. then you can sell your car for 2k and be on with life.
