That gen had the same taillights in Europe as here in the US. iirc, there was an optional rear fog available in Europe.

Ebay used to have them all the time... I would see them when I was looking for the JDM VTEC rear center garnish for my old 91 HB. They look like shit on the 91's though so if your friend puts them on his car he is an idiot.. Just my opinion.

No dummy, the Altezza is a Japanese made sports sedan - it has nothing to do with Europe. He's looking for taillights with integrated foglights that they sell on the cars in Europe - like the VW kids do. Not sure if they have those for old Hondas, but that's the only European lighting I know of. uu- Next time, read what he's looking for so you don't get 0wNeD!

BTW: I don't know if the Ranger pick-ups came with different rear lighting for the European market. It would be rad if they had "Cossie" on them or something! Are you getting yellow headlights so you can kick it French style too?

I think he was looking for Altezza style taillights, which for some reason they also call euro tails. Then again he can be looking for tails in this kinda of fashion:

But will never know until sporty240 makes a reply in this thread.

These lights are for the WRX and they don't look that bad.

Would any of you buy one if they made it for the S14?

I wouldn't. They would have to be some damn beautiful lights to change my mind. I mean really, what's the point? I know, I know, to make your car unique. *sigh*

thanks guys I can really feel the love eautoworks does have them for 229 thanks nissanfury

byw if anyone really does know what defines "euro" as opposed to "altezza" style taillamps, feel free to explain. I think "altezza" is just a lazy way of defining "euro" style like we would refer to Band-Aids or Kleenex. Am I wrong?

SimpleS14

I think "euro" is just a better way of defining "altezza" tails or maybe "euro" is just easier to say and sells better.

But either way they are not my thing, unless I made some for my S-14.

Thats the thing it's not euro. Trust me I live over here I NEVER see "euro" lights on any cars except IS200/300's and a new BMW that came out after the Altezza was created. That is why calling them Euro is dumb and calling them Altezza makes sense (cause the Altezza created the style)

Kinda off topic, but that new BMW (I believe its the 3-series hatch) is rather ugly or I just need to see it in person.

all I have to say about the altezza lights are they are called altezza for a reason they belong "ON" the toyota altezza/ lexus is300. They do not fit on any other car.
