Have you seen the crash test videos? Its never fun to have the entire dashboard attack you when you hit something. It was a long time that I saw it on another forum so I can't even remember the name of the video but it was scary how unsafe the car was.

When I was there last summer, I saw a bunch of X5, 4Runner, BMW frontend/ Volvo rear end, etc. knock offs.

Apparently in some places in China, they take old cars, repaint them, then sell them off as new cars. Everything in China has its knockoff counterpart. In Shenzhen, 90% of all cigarettes packs sold are fake. Some places have fake meat and tofu in the food...yea its pretty bad but if you see the quality of life that exists there, you can understand why they will try anything for a buck (or RMB).

Kinda like knockoff rolexes, everyone I know just buys them for laughs to say they have a knockoff, and then they use it as a regular watch. Besides, do you think most Chinese know these are knockoffs of foreign cars?

But, with that knockoff 7-series...what about the guy who buys the knockoff rolex expecting rolex quality? I'm sure as hell that thing is nowhere near the luxury and quality of a real 7-series.
