View Full Version : signal and hazard dont work???

All my lights work but when i try to signal and turn on my hazards lights, nothing happens. My cluster doesnt show any blinking either. All the plugs are plugged in and my signal bulbs all have the 2 elements for signals. Could this be my flasher? If I have a bad flasher could you still turn on the lights? Well ikm saying this cause my lights still works. When I turn the lights on, I can hear the tick sound, does this mean its still good? Is there any symptoms of a bad flasher other then testing it?

check fuses, look in the fuse box under your steering wheel, open the box, check the 3rd one from the bottom on the left side, replace if its blown

I checked all my fuses and they are all fine.

So, for a bad hazard switch it disables the signals ..hm.. interesting..
well, I do have an extra switch, well find out by tonight and ill update.

Well yes. Your signals flash when you turn your hazards on.

Yea, I know that, but it doesnt signal or flash when the hazard is engage.
Still havent try replacing my hazard to see if my signals work yet. Will by tonight.

Recently I redid my wiring and totally forgot to plug back the flasher. Plugged it back and its working again.
Thanks everyone, so if anyone is having a problem or trying to locate the flasher it is righ above your brake pedals that has 3 pings.:aw:

Thank you, will check that tomorrow... I was having the same problem as you but wanted to search well before I posted, anyways, my question and problem is answered and fixed as well as yours.. Thanks fellow zilvians...
