Ok...I will talk shit here. Because, this is incredibly dumb. It is a huge turbo for a street car but that big for a race car. Pretty dang common actually.

But FUCKING COME ON. It tells you the name of the turbo when the video starts!!!!!

Generally on drag 2j'z they use two smaller turbos. Real ballers use a bit of nitrous to boot. Rotaries usually use a turbo that size though because they produce more exhaust energy and can get away with it.

IHI (same company that made the turbos for Z-tune GTRs) makes this turbo

http://www.ihi.co.jp/ihi/photo/companykinnen_e/10023_1.jpg

It's made for container ships and sucks in 55 cubic meters per second
for comparison if you have a 1000hp car with twin T51Rs or something, you flow less than 1cms (~0.7cms). To get to 1cms you need about 1400hp. Not sure if my calculations are correct, but it seems right just by the size difference.

haha, i know THAT, i was just noting how fucking impractical that car is for any sort of track use, barring the last 20 feet of a drag course
