When it's someone who needs their hand held and walked through life as they post a new thread every other day to ask what everyone else thinks about their choices... TALK SMACK.
It's the only way you'll grow a backbone and make your own decisions, or at least stop seeking approval for things you've already done.

You seem to have a bad habit of making a decision (buying something), then seeking the approval of others after the fact.
How idiotic is that?
You should be doing things to suit yourself, not others. Furthermore, to seek others' opinions on viability AFTER you've committed to something is inane.

ThatGuy you hit it right on the spot.
Thus is why I hated last nights post about "is this car worth 3500"
Hold on. There are two major factors that you didn't touch on, the mechanicals and the milage. Heres what i bought. A 92 base model hatch bone stock. I paid $700 and drove it home. After which, I did some minor mechanicals like brakes and fixing oil leaks. Then I put a full audio system in it and made a custom rear seat delete (ill be posting a thread on it with pics and specs in the near future) and got a set of silvia seats to replace the nasty ones that were in it. I also replaced the automatic belts with a set of sparco harnesses. As of now, I'm into the car for about $1300 and i still need to replace the whole exhaust and the suspension as well as get a full poly kit from energy suspension. After that is done and I buy wheels and tires and do a full paint job I'll be into the car for a bout 5 grand. My car has 120k on it and everything functions as normal. Now, taking this into account. How much your willing to pay is totally up to you, but based on my car which i purchased for next to nothing it would take me atleast 3k to get to where that car is with those extras. so you'll be saving atleast 500 bucks over doing it yourself. With that being said, make sure you do the basic checks like structural integrity of the vehical. ie: no rust no accidents straight panels and a good set of frame rails under the car. Also unless you have another motor sitting around ready to go in; which i would bet you dont other wise you would know if this was a good deal or not, make sure the engine runs good starts up fine, no major leaks, the tranny shifts smooth, theres no check engine light on, etc. Rather than just focusing on the extras that come with the car like all those parts you listed which it seems like your focusing on. Because, that will all mean nothing if the car has a floor that is about to have a rust hole in it fred flinstone style or the motor throws a rod, or worse yet the car has some plagueing electrical issue that renders the car useless if it sits for more than a day or starts acting up after an hour long highway run. I've seen it all mostly because as a young kid I got wrapped up in all the hype of extra parts, that I've ended up with a few piles of doggy poop because of this. Just remember to check everthing thoroughly so you know exactly what your getting. I hope this helps. And try and take some pics and post them up. -Chez

That car sounds like a typical ricer car; ass. Chances are high it looks like ass also.
Don't waste your money. A few problems I noticed.
No point to put an upgraded fuel pump in there. That's a ricer move.
Unknown 17" rims. So that means it has weak width/offset. Which bring me to
Wider front fenders. WTF would he even need that with craptastic rims.
Not painted. That's going to cost some money.
HKS intake isn't carb legal. It would be extremely gay to be sent there for that.
Corbeau Harnesses. I wouldn't trust their seats with my life, let along their harness'. I am almost positive he doesn't have them mounted safely also. So, there goes your spine in a fender bender.
Oh wait. It has Corbeau seats also. Repeat prior.
The dude HAS beat the hell out of that car. I know it, you know it, we all know it. Just to save yourself money/hassle. Don't buy that pos car. It isn't worth it.
Mkay?

Hahahaha, not even close but nice try. I'm just tired of you starting threads asking "What do you guys think is better?" Just go out and make your damn choices.
I mean, you've only been heer for two months, and your threads have been as follows:
"Are these Springs any good?" [translate] If I buy Tein, will I be a cool drifter?
"What's an ECU?" [translate] I know I'm right, but I want you guys to see that I'm smart about cars. ACCEPT ME!!
"Installing Kouki Lights?" [translate] I know it's probably really simple to do with all the parts, and I could probably search to find my answer, but I want you guys to know I have cool JDM parts.
"Extended Lugs" [translate] Actually it probably wasn't a bad question, but as long as they are the right pitch, it's not a problem. You get credit for this one. Bravo.
Good deal? [translate]I just bought a car, so it doesn't really matter if you guys say it was bad or not, but now I can tell you all the cool stuff it came with, and make it sound like I'm asking a question ACCEPT ME, PLEASE!
Have a nice day.

Asking for approval on something you ALREADY bought.
Asking for no negative comments cause you know you attract them.

Yeah, not a computer freak either. Keep trying though.
Oh, and to answer you're other question: YES, it is my job to be an asshole.
You still haven't explained what race has to do with your argument? As if pulling a race card wasn't an ignorant enough method of trying to win an argument, pulling a race card with no basis is even more ignorant.

See, ThatGuy does not have the market cornered on being an asshole.
Most of us on the moderation team are quite adept at this, and rather enjoy it. You were called on bullshit by several people, became butt-hurt and further tore your own ass by trying to fight back and failing in the process... NEXT time you ask someone to hold your hand and include the disclaimer "no comments from ThatGuy," I will be waiting to take his place in busting your balls when (not if, your track record speaks its own volumes) you show us they need to be busted.
... that will be all for now

Don't type in with the Caps Lock on. Zilvia doesn't like it and tries to fix it for you. Unfortunately it still leaves all the first letters as capitals and makes you look silly.
Good job explaining your use of "race" in your argument.

That'll be a very effective deterrent, I'm sure.
Why don't you go ahead and add a disclaimer to your post saying that we're not allowed to moderate you? :cj: :cj: :mepoke:
