I've been searching and couldn't see any info about bleeding the radiator fully, not just taking out the air, replacing all the coolant.
I'm trying to clean out the radiator, I see dirt building up in the blue coolant. I would also like to replace the blue coolant with the green one, so it would be much easier detecting blown HGs (oil in coolant) /dirt etc.
Few questions.
Is it possible to bleed the system without heater? The cold/hot switch on the dashboard is stuck. I can go to cold air but it get stucks in the middle so i cant put it on heater.
Any links/suggestions would me alot thanks

There is a 14mm drain bolt on the block under the header. it is usualy very tight.
once you are done draining, jack front of the car up as high as you can.it is very important to do that to help air bleed. remove 10mm bolt on upper hose housing and fill the system untill clear stream with no bubbles comes out of it. after install the bolt. be VERY careful not to brake it off it does not have to be very tight. these brake off easyer then anything. run car untill thermostat opens. feel radiator hose to see if it opens up or not(lower). it is best to use this to "burp" teh cooling system.

do not drive teh car unless you are totaly sure thermostat has opened. ti sis very coommon to get air pockets which prevent it from opening and will cause overheating.
best thing about that funnel is it allows you to run teh car without cap on which helps bleed the system.
manualy move heater clock valve if your electrical controls dont work on inside. it is located on one of the heater hoses.
do not lower front of the car untill bleeding process is done.
Edit: it is possible that thermostat still wont open after all this ==>you will see coolant start overflowing from the funnel. in that case shut car off. and remove 10mm bleed screw again. let car sit for 5/10mins and run it again untill cooling system functions properly
damn i really wish there was a spellcheck handy

Ideally you want to flush the entire cooling system - that includes the heater inside the car. You can do it by using a Prestone Coolant system flush kit that you should be able to pick up at any auto parts store:
http://www.amazon.com/Prestone-AFKIT0-Universal-Flush-Fill/dp/B000CCFY5W
All you have to do is tap into the heater lines that come out the back of your engine block on the passenger side above the fuel filter. Follow the instructions on the back of the kit on how to install:
http://www.prestone.com/products/flash/accessories/accessories2.swf
Once you've installed the flush kit then it's pretty easy to get out all the old coolant from your cooling system.
Anyhow, hope this helps....
