OT: MTV True Life: Street Racing

i just watch flipped and all i got to say thats some f'ed up stuff.its so easy to get f'ed up or lose ur license its not worth it. true life is comming on next...keep a look out for 240s

Just caught the last 15min of the show.. it was alright, although it wasn't anything I haven't seen before in the past. Bottom line, just keep it off the streets, it's not worth the ticket and headaches.

after watching that....defintly keep it off the streets. cops and crashes arent cool. the show wasnt all that good. all honduhs with thier vtecs and b16s. although there was one white Z and one FC Rx7

now which one are you talking about (the show), are you talking about Flipped or True Life. Flipped was on yesterday and it was pretty gay, anyone ever hear of a radar detector, geez, either way why would you run from the cops if you are one of 2 cars, maybe if it was a large ass group, but there was maybe like 4 cars at first then 2 when cops came. Anyway hopefully it scared some street racers away.

I missed the True Life one though, had work, its rerunning I think tomorrow at 7 (Central) if my DirecTV is telling the truth.

On the Flipped one there was lots of footage from Mischief, like the MX-6 driving on the freeway and some other shit. Dados car is real nice, alway stop over by DTMPower to see if they got any new vids. damn Bimmer kids alwats have the nicest vids, same with the Supra guys, why arent the 240s reppin with som enice vids? I need to get me a digi camcorder

I just caught both about an hour ago. Intresting, the Flipped one was really opening. Even though I discourage street racing it was still sad to see that guy die (even though he isnt really dead). That show totally threw me off. As for the true life show.... eh lots and lots of hondas!! It was intresting to see that guys right hand drive integra though, thats a first for me. Glad to see no 240s out there, even though that dude said his friend died up in the canyons...

I watched it and thought it was actually pretty good, until the last 15 minutes where it gets all mushy and PSAish.

I like how in 3 races of a pair of Hondas, 2 were decided by missed shifts. And to win the last one, the guy fuxored his LS/VTEC JDM Teg. Funny stuff.

I was wondering, if this is it... why were all the drifters of touge down in Cali bitching non-stop and writing flame to MTV for showing up at their drift spot with an Integra? ... what was all that about? Cause I wasn't expecting every fucking car in the show to be a honda, that was just sick and all the sentimental crap is bullshit to keep you off the street's, btw did anyone notice how badly the integra driver took that turn at the last scene were it shows him track racing? ... I just think everyone in this video was sad, but at least they knew what they were doing, dont know about the guy that blew his tranny though.

Are you referring to the li'l thing about how the guy is now "taking it to the track" on the True Life show? If I remember, they show him racing his CRX beforehand, so I thought it was still his Civic on the track (and they show that he's got a camera mounted there...I just assumed he taped his track runs and gave the footage to MTV to play -- too bad they didn't use any of his good footage of him on the track... unless that was the best he did?) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

Anyway... no big deal. It was "usual" F&F stuff that really didn't bother me. I honestly like the fact that there's no "240 reppin" cuz then you get people harassing you while you're driving down the road. The anonymity is nice to me.
