How to post short video?

I want to post a video (1 or 2 min) from my camera(cannon 5mp digital) to this site. Can anyone tell me how to do it in

RETARD TERMS.. I am totally computer illiterate and barely know how to post pics...

Im guessing that you have a cable that plugs into a usb or firewire whatever that lets you pull pictures off?

If you do save the video to your computer then go to youtube and upload it there.
