Update 4-23-07:

Checked FasTrak site and first violation has been dismissed since i sent them a release of liability. I guess I'll just have to send them another release of liability and another to DMV. Its just a hassle to go thru this again.

~~~
Need your info!
I dug around my paperwork and found your address, but i need your CA Driver's License No. per FasTrak.
You bought my stock Gray 1989 S13 SE hatch in Pacheco on Feb 15, 2007. You bought 2 friends with you when you picked up the car, a honda coupe and a Champagne S13 coupe (chuki front, no sunroof, lowered, mix of 7-spoke SE wheels and black wheels)
You've obviously replaced the clutch since you've now gone through FASTRAK twice and I've received the tickets.
I've tried calling your number but it has since been disconnected.
Anybody here who knows this obviously outstanding young man, please let him know I need his info.
I would like to get this resolved asap.
Yeah, I turned in the release of liability the very next day. Unfortunately, i didn't make a copy of it so i don't have much of his info.
I can't believe DMV is so slow on the ball. Its been two months.
As long as you turned in the release of liability, then you're golden.
You don't have his address from the sale transaction?
Folks,
Since Fastrak seems to think i still own the car, should i call it in stolen? just a thought. This seems like a lot of hassle for a car i sold for close to nothing.
I'm pretty sure they would want to see the police report. Probally not the best idea.
or... just call them and tell them you sold it and explain yourself
Like I said, it was just a thought. I do know a cop in the local area who i went to high school and college with and was going to be my very last resort.
Updates up!
