Before i tell you the device i paid a considerable amount of money for I would like to discourage any and all those who desire to challenge my planned project. That being said this post is not to be for those 13yr olds who want to waste everyones time, rather it should be for logical discussion of using and adapting an auto loc brand flame thrower controller to a 95 nissan 240sx.
Okay so I have a 95 240sx that I need to find a way to make run richer, The cat is removed and I have followed the plans on installing this 170 dollar device, however when the ignition is cut, the injectors will not pulse. Please note I do not want to discuss adding a diesel fuel injector or propane to the exhaust system.
Any open minded folk who can contribute a logical idea rather than an opinion on its install are welcome to reply.

CHALLENGE!
why make your car burn more fuel, lose performance, and fuck up your air fuel ratio just so you can bust the F&F moves at teh red light?

Cuz popping flames is JDM.
I can do it just from running rich almost at will. Its great when ricers are riding my tail trying to provoke me... The faces are priceless.

everyone has a good point. Unless its the flamethrowers that will burn someone trying to steal your car, whats the point?
!Zar!

Please tell me this question is a joke.
If not, how could you possibly expect NOT to get "flamed" over it?

agreed bump up your FP..bigger injectors and an FPR?...but purposely making your car run super rich so you can spit flames occasionally is probably not gonna be worth it....im sure the flame thrower will get tired after you show it off for a week....unless this is gonna be a demolition durby car or only used for burnout contests or something. id contact autoloc if i were you and asked what they recommend....it is your car so do whatever you want just be ready for a lot of ppl to hate on you for this one...do your own thing tho

all you need is to insall a spark plug on the muffler and hook it to switch with power - flick the switch and you have flamage along with a melted bumper.
+1k on this being a really dumb idea!
also turbo cars that are runinng rich will back fire flames - thats where it all originated from anyways!:loco: :2f2f:

ext wastegate dumped
big turbo
big exhaust no cats 3" back
and run rich
you'll shoot flames under the car (wastegate) and out the exhaust

^^ haha yes....yes you will mine used to do that ish and i like that set up better than the flame thrower lol ..also what does this kit include im assuming it already comes with the spark plug for the exhaust switches and all that stuff right?

Also from running your engine too rich will cause cylinder wash which then over time will wear out the piston rings

I'm pretty open minded but this idea in itself is not logical, this idea is plain rice, just think about it, you want to shoot flames to show off. Theres no performance ability added. And don't try to compare it to a set of flashy wheels or wide body kit, its not justifiable to pay $170 for a device like this..
Sell it, go turbo, you'll be fast, and if you wish shoot flames whenever. OR if your KA maybe you could do MSD 2 step (honda owners do it) basically shoots a flame on your command without fucking anything up.
Not trying to flame you, just trying to share some of my and apparently every one else on here's logic..

Yes this kit involves a spark plug in the tail pipe, coil wire and ignition coil, it also has a relay that momentarily kills the distributor for rich condition, however i think when it does so, the injectors fail to continue pulsing.

Update. I made it work, I had the ground of the coil cutting off, needed the other wire spliced. Damn this works too well. 2.5 foot flames on demand, for all you haters out there just a fyi I did this to my nissan before I risked damaging my valuable car 68 olds 442 with said modification. I will be transfering it to the olds tomarrow, and putting the nissan back to stock.

hahaha you should have just put it on the olds cuz it would have been way easier and simpler and faster..it wont do anything, we have them on a 51 ford a 54 mercury a 54 chevy a 51 mercury and i know a few other guys with them on their cars as well, its wat the rockabilly scene/hot rod guys do....they do it all the time and its very cheap and simple...i'm sorry you paid 170 we got it done for like 50 bucks. haha and i dont know if you guys have ever seen this guy, theres a blue hatchback in socal that has that kit on his car....lol i laughed when i saw it, cuz its like a 17 year old who unfortunately does not have th money to buy an old ride, for he is rockabilly...but i still laughed cuz it was a 240 doing it infront of nothing but old cars...anywas just sharing....
