I am selling my 1992 Suzuki Katana 600. I got this bike less than a year ago and it was in poor/ neglected shape. It had full fairings on it however they were broken, cracked, ripped, etc. from the previous owner. Since i got the bike i did the visual upgrades inlcuding removing the original plastics, modifying rear fairing, installing a new single round headlight and giving the tank and modded rear fairings a fresh coat of flat black. I purchased a used Yoshi full exhaust off of ebay for it that could use a repaint, and a new can(has dings in can) but otherwise it works great and sounds awesome.
Ive just put alot of money into this bike inlcuding:
It has a brand new Lock Kit... including new ignition switch, gas tank lid and rear seat lock with brand new keys all from Suzuki.
New front sprocket
New chain
New rear sprocket (1 tooth down for acceleration)
(i dont remember if it was 1 down in front or rear to be honest, but it made a world of difference)
New clutch lever
New rear brake rotor
New brake lever
New battery
New bulbs all around
new flashers and relays
New Factory Pro Stage 3 jet kit
New BMC POD air filters(1 filter per 2 carbs) (SOUNDS AWESOME!)
Carbs have just been cleaned and inspected and new pilot jets and the facotry pro kit were installed by a moto shop next door to us.
I have always ran Motul Oil in it since ive purchased it.
Tires came on it when i got it and have plenty of life left in them.
The fork seals are good however the dust seals on the outside look pretty used. i will supply fork oil, new suzuki seals with the bike. I never installed because whats on there works fine.
When i got it last year it needed a good amount to go through inspection. I got it all fixed and it should pass inspection again no problem even without the plastics.
I backed into it with my truck once and broke the fender. That is all that broke. I have a new/ used front fender to go on i will also include. it is red.
The choke cable is missing, i have a ziptie on it that i hold when choke is nessecary. cables are cheap and easy to install, but this ziptie works fine.
I removed the oem gas gauge and indicator setup so i could do the sweet round headlight covnersion. Really... i never need to know if my blinker is on or if im running out of gas because all you have to do is look. It does still have the oem tachometer and speedomoter mounted to the handlebars.
this bike rides straight as an arrow and gets ALOT of looks as its pretty damn unique. I goto local bike hangouts and in the sea of new GSXRs, R6s, etc.... my bike will get the most compliments just for being different.(and pretty cool looking in my book) COnsidering its an old katana 600 its pretty quick... others that have ridden with me can attest. Itll get the front wheel up in 1st no prob now with the jet kit installed and new filters.
Its fairly low mileage considering its age. @ only 17,776 miles as of today. I got it at 14,xxx miles or so.
Im asking $2000.00OBO ...go ahead and make an offer, id like to sell fast to be able to afford new bike sooner than later.
Its an awesome bike, but i want to upgrade to somthing faster and better handling. It would make a great first bike, or nice to have as a backup incase a friend wants to ride with you.

...the only thing id change would be to paint the wheels a different color and continue riding it.
any questions feel free to ask. email me @ [email protected] or call me at the shop 410-633-1571. ask for Brian.
