ugh, if you want it like brand new again, then EVERYTHING needs to be replaced... ALL gaskets including internal parts... bearings, pistion rings, etc? unless you dont want to go into detail with it... if you do that, you might as well upgrade internal parts... why not right? do it once, do it right...

what parts should I replace?
It's called blueprinting the engine. It means rebuilding the engine to manufacturer's specifications from the factory. This is done in showroom stock racing where you are not allowed to modify the engine.
If you want it completely like new, you have to dissassemble every part, clean, inspect, and replace anything that's out of specs. You will also have to check the block, head, crank, piston, rods, valvetrain, etc.
Can anyone help me out with this?
What is "this"? Do you want someone to give you some information? Are you looking for a shop to do the actual work? Please clarify.

Im in the process of a rebuild but as the others say you might as well put better parts in your engine while it's apart. Getting new OEM parts can sometimes cost as much as better aftermarket parts.

It really depends on what he's trying to do. For showroom stock classes (which no RWD SR would qualify for in the US), you can't use aftermarket parts.
But he's right. The labour to put in better parts are the same. You will only be paying for the more expensive parts, but the marginal benefits of doing a rebuild with stronger parts will be very good as compared to installing new OEM parts.

sorry about the "this" post but yea I was wondering what online shops are the best sites to get the oem parts, reliable sites because Ive been seeing more and more sites popping up and I dont know which ones I can trust. But what I am trying to do is make it more like show car status because I like originality. Has anyone here done something similar to what i am trying to do that could tell me about how much it cost them. I wouldnt mind hearing how much it cost all the other forum members to fix up their sr to have more power. because maybe when it comes down to it I might choose to go the other route and make it more powerful. Right now Ill have 3k to spend after I buy the engine and I am still saving up more. One more thing what sites has everyone been getting their sr's from? Has anyone heard of japanese engine import.com?
