Because then you need the driveshaft and rear end as well.

s13 tranny will work

you need

s13 transmission bolts
s13 flywheel,clutch,pressure plate
the obvious s13 transmission
a brain

The only things that make the s15 tranny "weak" is the physical fact that the gears are smaller and the ratio isnt a favorite to many.

blitz ran a 400hp s15 on stock transmission with no problem.

may want to switch to the 15' final drive as well to better match the ratio's.

only if he plans on using the 6 speed. though he is asking if he can use a earlier 5 speed which basically means he would most likely not be using the 6 speed. In which case it would be a big mistake for him to put 370(stock s15) final drive ratio in the car. Unless he wants to bog off the line and get great gas mileage.:keke:
