S14 Climate Control How do you get to the bulbs??

I took the climate control unit out of my 95 240 because the selection backlights dont work, and havent for a long time, the green indicator light still works but thats it, does anyone know how to get to the bulbs? I have the unit out of the car, and i took the back cover off but cant seem to find a way to get behind the circuit boards to gain access to the bulbs. Any tips or knowledge on the situation? I was also thinking about swapping in some led lights inplace of the factory bulbs since i figure might as well do it right the first time. Anyone else done this? Thanks!

the circuit board should have a few screws holding it in place. once those are removed, the board should pop out. atleast thats how my S13 climate control is.

Are these replacement bulbs sold at my local Pep Girs auto store? If so, does anyone know the bulb numbers? Thanks.
