I'm selling my shimmed VLSD diff. If your not sure what shimming is, I put an extra shim next to the viscous coupler inside the differential to add pressure. This in turn makes the diff lock up MUCH harder. I believe I added a 1.5mm shim.

In my experience it acts very similar to a 1.5 way clutch type, with out the clunking. You won't be dissapointed unless you really really really want a real clutch type.

Only problem is the backlash is not properly set, its close, but it does whine a bit. I drove it for a little bit like this, not long enough to do any damage.

$400 if you want me to set the backlash before sale
$325 if you want to take care of it.

Comes with axles.

What do you think adding a 2.65mm shim will make it act like I'm betting welded.
Ideally i want a diff i can grip and drift with but I want it to lock more frequently than a 1.5 way but still open up for turns so it does sand down my tires like a welded does what thickness would you recomend?.
