MY fuel pump is diying fast, my car is getting harder to crank by the day. I have a mechanic but he's out of town. so I decided to change it my self, but first I wanted to know whats the easiest way to perform this procedure. can any one give me a quick walk through.

discharge fuel pressure, pull the fuel pump fuse out, crank car, it'll die on it's own, crank it couple more times

go to your trunk, unbolt, put in new pump, bolt back stuff, put in fuse, you should be good to go...

You need

Ratchet w/ extension
10mm Socket, 8mm Socket,
Needle Nose Pliers
Phillips Screwdriver

Not necessarly required but if you don't want fuel spraying out when you remove a line remove the fuel pump fuse and start the car.

1. First find your fuel pump, looking towards the front of your car with the hatch/trunk open it will be on your right hand side.
2. Lift up the carpeting, to reveal 2 screws, your need your Phillips
3. Unplug the Fuel Pump wiring, the blue connecter
4. Unscrew the 4 10mm bolts
5. Unscrew the Phillips screw on one of the fuel hoses, using your needle nose pliers move the clamp from the other hose. Remove the hoses.
6. Unscrew the 8mm bolts.
7. Pull the pump out carefully, try not to knock the o-ring off. If it comes off it will expand. And you can cut it again to make it fit perfect. Unbolt old pump, replace new pump!! Reserve order.
