I was in the market to pick up some ruca and well i dont know which to get i know you get what you pay for but so far the crappy stuff on my car seems to work well..lol..i just wanted to know if there was a specific brand that was not too pricey and works well. I saw the thread on the megan ones and know not to get megan but i know there are a few others...any suggestions?

peak performance and battle version, beefy, what I would run, but expensive.
Ctune racing and megan racing, ok, but works!

I like kazama. But that's uber expensive. But the best on the market. SPL is also very good. Good price too

Sorry for thread jack but I was also in the market deciding between SPL and Tanabe. I want to keep my suspension Tanabe all around but havent really heard much about the actual handling arms?? Does anybody here have have those?

dude it doesn't fuckin matter
SPL = NAMS for s13, Cusco for S14 IIRC
get the one u can get the better price on or you can find more easily
"actual handling arms"... like a Tanabe RUCA will make you handle "better" than an SPL RUCA, c'mon bro

Yes, all ruca's are close; quality made ones. Not Megan Racing crap.
Go with SPL parts. Because buying a part is just part of the challenge. GOOD customer service helps alot. Kuah is great when it comes to that.

Kinda... but probably the most competent post in this thread anyways.

Kazama is rebranded cusco/generic china rods. 90% of it is overpriced crap.

Well, Besides that Tanabe doesn't make the sustec arms anymore, what the fuck are handling arms?
SPL or Battle Version or go home.

$90 son's a....they wait until I buy a set and then drop the price. THAT SUCKS!!!!!! But I do like them so far although I haven't had a chance to beat them up. I am going to a auto-X next month so I'll let you know how they hold up after that.

.......theyre cheap.
Falls under the "if you stand no chance of remotely come close to beating them, grossly undercut them" category.
