My car was wrecked into last summer while it was parked at a friends house. Insurance totaled the car and i bought it back for like 150 bucks and I fixed all of the damage. The car is currently in the paint shop getting complelty repainted. It also has full areo now and I dont think I can change the look of the car for the picture I need to send to penndot. I wont have the car back for probably another month but I want to send my packet out for the new title to the dmv now. My question is if someone has a 91-94 s13 hatchback that is green that has all the stock bumpers could take a picture of each side of the car, the front, and the rear and post the pictures so I can hurry up and send for my title. Actually I dont even think it has to be green, since my car is getting repainted red.
Please someone help me get my car back on the road.

If anyone has done this before and knows any tips i could use, please feel free to share.

why didnt you do that before all the aero and paint went on?
Also, you can probably just tell them what you did (repainted, new bumpers, etc) and show them the VIN and they'll be fine with it.

I didnt really think much about it before the car went out for paint, and i didnt think it was going to take this long. I just wanted to send pictures of a basiclly stock 240 so i know it will get approved. I dont want to send it and them deny it and have to doo shit over again. I just thought it would be easy for someone to post up those 4 pictures i need

don't know if it is a good idea to scam the dmv like that. I don't think it would be that big of a deal just because of aero. Just go to the body shop and snap a few pics.

I have talked to people that have done the same thing (used pictures of another car) and got away with it just fine. Its just that my car is like in peices right now and is not complelty painted. Its not like they can prove that its not my car just from the pictures, and i have a mechanic that will sign the pictures off...

I don't know how it is in PA, but in other states pictures aren't worth anything, they have to have the car on hand before any title paperwork is processed. If you can get away with a scammed pic, have at it.

My best friends sister just had to do it with her rsx. All she had to do was have the pictures signed by a mechanic saying that they are legit and then send them to penndot and wait.

I have talked to a few people that have done it before with pictures of another car, it is possible. All i wanted to know was if someone was actually kind enough to post and let me use their pictures.

im PA - just take it to a "special inspection" place that has online - they can give you the R title there and you wont have to wait the 3-4 weeks.

What are these inspection stations you speak of? I saw 2 of them on the list that are in my town here. What exaclty do they do? I have never heard of doing it this way before, i thought for sure i would have to wait for penndot to process my paper work and shit.

thats the way you do it now. theres no more mv462 or 426 or whatever now. You just take it to a enhanced shop - they approve, you get your title, and you can register it right then and all. its cake.
